Leon Patterson

Leon is chairman and chief executive officer of The Palmetto Bank, Laurens, SC. He has served on the board of directors of the American Bankers Association and as president of the South Carolina Bankers Association. Leon has been actively involved in his community, serving as president of the Greater Laurens Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the Upper Savannah Council of Governments, and a founding member of the Leadership Laurens board of Directors. He has also served as president of the Blue Ridge Council, Boy Scouts of America and currently is serving on the executive committee of the board of the Peace Center for the Performing Arts. Patterson received his bachelor's degree from Wofford College and his MBA degree from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.
