Last month, we launched Crossroads, Upstate Forever’s $7.5 million campaign to ensure our region grows responsibly while protecting the critical lands, abundant waters, and unique character of the Upstate. Thanks to commitments by our generous lead donors, we were just $150,000 short of our goal at the time of launch.
Today, as we celebrate the start of Earth Month, we are delighted to share that, since the launch, we have already raised $62,000! That means we are just $88,000 short of our goal! We are close, but we still need your help. Our goal is to raise the remaining funds by April 30.
It’s no secret — we are consuming too much land, too fast. Our mountains, fields, rivers, and forests are disappearing. Without them, we lose the beauty. We lose what makes people want to be here. We lose what we love about our home.
Help us protect the Upstate for generations to come. Pledge at least $25 per year for three years or make a one-time gift of $50 or more by April 30 to receive our limited edition Be the Upstate tee created in collaboration with local outfitter Dapper Ink.
