Hundreds of folks showed up last week to share their excitement, ideas, and questions about the future Saluda Grade Trail!
If you missed the opportunity to join one of these recent public meetings or have additional feedback to share, the Saluda Grade Trail Conservancy partners — comprised of Upstate Forever, PAL: Play. Advocate. Live Well. and Conserving Carolina — invite you to provide input through the community survey now through Thursday, November 16. You'll have the opportunity to share how you plan to use this multi-use trail, what features you'd like to see along it, any concerns you have about the Saluda Grade Trail, and more.
This community survey is being conducted as part of a Feasibility Study to assess the possibility of converting the Saluda Grade rail corridor into a greenway trail. Unsure what exactly a feasibility study is? Traffic Planning and Design, Inc., a firm engaged by the Saluda Grade Trail Conservancy to conduct the study, has prepared a helpful narrated overview explaining what factors will be analyzed, the predicted timeline of the study, and more.
