Lauren Ulich joined Upstate Forever in 2021 as the Land Stewardship Coordinator with a focus on conservation easement monitoring. She now serves as the Stewardship and Restoration Manager and oversees the work of the stewardship team while building the Land Management program from the ground up. In this role, she collaborates with private landowners and other conservation organizations to improve and restore habitat, reduce erosion and implement land management BMPs (best management practices) throughout Upstate Forever’s network of protected properties.
Lauren holds a bachelor's and master's degree in horticulture from the University of Georgia, bringing with her experience in in the areas of native plant propagation, habitat restoration, invasive species management, and plant conservation networking.
Lauren happily calls Greenville home and spends her free in her garden with her husband, cats and chickens.
