Upstate Forever Staff

Morgan Martin is a seasoned fundraising professional with over fifteen years of development experience including major gift fundraising, planned giving, annual giving, prospect management, and donor relations. In her role at Upstate Forever, Morgan leads the development efforts for the organization, closely collaborating with the Executive Director and Board of Directors. 

Morgan earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of North Carolina Asheville, and a master’s degree in non-profit and association management at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Before joining Upstate Forever in 2024, most of her professional career was spent in various development roles at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Growing up in the mountains of Saluda, North Carolina, Morgan feels deeply rooted to the region and committed to protecting it for future generations. In her spare time, Morgan volunteers in various roles in her community and spends as much time as possible in the outdoors with her family, enjoying the beauty and splendor of the natural world.
