Low-cost septic repairs for homeowners in the North, Middle, or South Tyger watershed

February 24th, 2025

Are you a homeowner on a septic system in the North, Middle, or South Tyger watershed?

Upstate Forever's Clean Water team has grant funding remaining until July that provides cost-share assistance to landowners who live in proximity to the North, Middle, and South Tyger Rivers for septic repairs to help improve water quality in your area:

Many residents on septic systems are noticing that their toilets are slow to flush, their yard is squishy and/or smelly following Hurricane Helene. Because of that heavy rainfall and flooding, many septic systems are not able to function at normal capacity and might need repairs or replacements. Make sure to get your septic system checked out before this grant funding runs out!
