Bob Barreto graduated from Clemson University with a degree in administrative management in 1979. His career took him across the country working with Fortune 500 companies such as Wells Fargo International, Waste Management and SuperValu stores in business development and financial roles. In 2004, after 12 years as executive vice president and director of mergers and acquisitions with Iron Mountain Records Management, Bob relocated to Greenville, taking his experience to companies in need of comprehensive growth strategies as the managing partner of The Norman Resource Group. He also dedicated much of his free time to charitable endeavors, serving as chair of the Clemson First Program, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and others.
From 2011 until 2018, Bob served as president and CEO of GBS Building Supply, a regional lumber and building supply company. While in this role, he served terms as president of the Home Builders Association of Greenville and as a board member for Habitat for Humanity. Bob is a founding partner in several real estate development endeavors, and currently serves on the board of the Hispanic Alliance in Greenville. He enjoys a number of outdoor activities with his family.
