Christie Nachman is a retired school counselor, after having served for 25 years in the public-school systems of Tennessee, Arizona, and South Carolina. Christie received a BA in Psychology from Rhodes College (Memphis, TN) and a MS in Counseling at The University of Memphis. Christie is certified as a Life Coach (The Institute for Life Coach Training) and completed Mayo Clinic’s rigorous Health and Wellness Training program.
Christie grew up in rural central Ohio and has called Greenville home since 2006. She is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, volunteers weekly at United Ministries, and often runs a Meals On Wheels route in Greenville’s Judson Community. Christie appreciatively participated in Upstate Forever’s Citizens Planning Academy in the fall of 2022. Always preferring to be outside, Christie enjoys walking and hiking, playing tennis, and traveling with friends and family. She especially values the positive relationship between nature and mental health.
