Upstate Forever Staff

Sally joined Upstate Forever as Communications Director in April of 2017. A Greenville native, she graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and from Virginia Tech with a master’s degree in English. She has previously worked at Community Journals as a layout designer and at EnVeritas Group as a writer, editor, and marketing coordinator.

In her role at Upstate Forever, Sally is responsible for creating and executing communications strategies, assisting with grant-related materials, and creating marketing collateral.

In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her retired racing greyhounds, visiting local breweries with her husband Travis, and obsessively monitoring her hummingbird feeder.
